This week’s menu

WCCS is now closed for half-term.

Sunday 4th June, 9.45 am, choristers and probationers return.

Monday 5th June, 8.40 am, day boys return.

Below is the menu for the first week after half-term.


Sunday 4th

Breakfast

  • Choristers return at 9.45 am

Lunch

  • Roasted chicken with new potatoes and broccoli
  • Sponge pudding
  • Fruit

Supper

  • Jacket potatoes with beans, cheese and tuna mayonnaise
  • Mixed leaf and cucumber salad
  • Fruit

Monday 5th

Breakfast

  • Fried egg
  • Toast
  • Cereal
  • Porridge
  • Fruit

Lunch

  • Tricolour gnocchi with tomato or basil pesto sauce and green beans
  • Salad of the day
  • Garlic bread
  • Fruit
  • Yoghurt

Supper

  • Sausage and mash with chef’s gravy, savoy cabbage and carrots
  • Marble cake
  • Fruit

Tuesday 6th

Breakfast

  • Hash browns and baked beans
  • Porridge
  • Cereal
  • Greek yoghurt
  • Fruit compote

Lunch

  • Roast loin of pork with roasted parmentier potatoes and shredded greens
  • (v) Quorn roast
  • Salad of the day
  • Jelly
  • Fruit
  • Yoghurt

Supper

  • Chef’s sticky BBQ ribs with egg fried rice and peas
  • Fruit

Wednesday 7th

Breakfast

  • Waffles
  • Porridge
  • Cereal
  • Greek yoghurt
  • Fruit compote

Lunch

  • Homemade chicken goujons wraps with lettuce, guacamole, salsa and cucumber
  • (v) ‘It isn’t chicken’ tenders
  • Fruit

Supper

  • Chef’s slow-cooked lamb curry with baby corn, mange tout and giant cous cous
  • Chocolate mousse

Thursday 8th

  • Sausage sandwich

  • Chef’s slow beef stew with rice and tender-stem broccoli

Friday 9th
